It is with great pleasure that we announce that DanatCon HR Ltd was the proud recipient of a prestigious award at the first-ever Cyprus HR Awards.

The awards ceremony took place on 30th October at the Lemon Park Nicosia.  More than 150 prominent guests attended the event.

The objective of these awards is to recognise and celebrate companies operating in the Republic of Cyprus that, through the use of innovative and particularly successful initiatives and practices, have managed to contribute significantly and to distinguish themselves in the field of Human Resources management and employee development.

DanatCon was the only company to receive an award in the category ‘Innovative HR Consulting’ .  This category is aiming to “highlight the external partner (supplier or provider) whose innovative work contributes to enhancing the strategic role of HR Professionals”.

DanatCon’s nomination for the Cyprus HR Awards was based on its innovative use of learning tools in corporate training and particularly the use of state of the art Business Simulations in specially designed and facilitated workshops.

The awards were judged on merit only and nominations were assessed by a panel of independent industry experts, including senior business executives, academic professionals as well as state and institutional body representatives.

The award was received on behalf of DanatCon by the company’s CEO, Barry Kyriacou.  In a statement upon receiving the award, Barry Kyriacou thanked the organisers and added that “we feel particularly honoured to be receiving this award, which of course I am accepting on behalf of all people at DanatCon”.

He then explained that “The Business Simulations used by DanatCon, are indeed state of the art as they introduce the latest technology and artificial intelligence in the overall learning experience”.  He added, “we are especially glad about the fact that, during the past 2-3 years, these particular tools that we are increasingly utilising to help our clients achieve their learning objectives, have been embraced by organisations in Cyprus as well”.

The Cyprus HR Awards, organised by Dias Group and Boussias Communications, are held under the auspices of the Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance, the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI) and the Cyprus Human Resource Management Association (CyHRΜA).
