Organisational Culture

Organisational Culture refers to the way people in an organisation THINK, ACT and REACT to colleagues, customers and the market. In most organisations, culture has evolved with time. In high-performance organisations, culture is not left to the uncertainty of evolution, but instead, designed and continuously strengthened.

Everyone talks of developing a ‚ÄúPerformance Culture‚ÄĚ. The challenge is developing a mind-set where everyone understands and accepts that they are individually accountable for delivering on their targets. Performance should be everyone's business.

Developing a ‚ÄúPerformance Culture‚ÄĚ

Helped a major telecommunications company to create and implement a ‚Äúnew‚ÄĚ organisational culture.

The project took around one and a half years and involved 3,000 employees.
The main objective was to shift the company culture from a culture of ‚Äúentitlement‚ÄĚ to a culture of ‚ÄúPerformance and Accountability‚ÄĚ.

The process started with creating the company’s Vision, Mission and Values, training everyone to learn and understand them and then enabling everyone to live the Values in their everyday working life through practical implementation. The project resulted in significant operational benefits for the company as well as improvements in organisational culture.

The DanatCon Methodology

The DanatCon Culture Improvement process aims to develop those behaviours - throughout Management and Staff - that will enable the organisation to achieve its strategic objectives.

Our methodology ‚Äď fine tuned over more than 20 years of experience ‚Äď has been applied with proven success at some of the world‚Äôs most reputable companies. The secret of its success is ‚Äúfocus on implementation‚ÄĚ. By following a series of carefully designed steps, the organisation‚Äôs Values are transformed into practical everyday behaviours.

Benefits

The benefits of a well-executed Culture Improvement Process go far beyond improved behaviours. As many executives have commented:
‚ÄúWe were surprised by the magnitude of operational improvements achieved as a result of this process‚ÄĚ.

Improved behaviours encourage re-assessment of the organisation’s working practices, which in turn lead to:

  • Increased process efficiency and overall cost savings
  • Closer collaboration between departments driving speedier resolution of issues and improved inter-organisational alignment

A strong and strategy-aligned culture is the foundation of long-term business success.

Dimitris Tsikopoulos -Managing Director
Danatcon has greatly helped Navarino to bring form and substance to the corporate culture we wanted to encourage throughout our organization. Their workshops are designed for both senior management and general staff and they consist of inclusive, interactive sessions that are engaging, lively and that bring truly original approaches. Most importantly, we found that the entire Danatcon experience has had a long lasting effect on our internal culture ‚Äď the messages and ideas that we learned about very early on were effectively brought into our corporate philosophy and continue to grow and develop at Navarino long after our initial sessions with them. We are very happy to have seen a concrete, positive outcome from this experience and are delighted that is continuously evolving as it takes root and grows at all levels of our company.
