Organisational Culture

Organisational Culture refers to the way people in an organisation THINK, ACT and REACT to colleagues, customers and the market. In most organisations, culture has evolved with time. In high-performance organisations, culture is not left to the uncertainty of evolution, but instead, designed and continuously strengthened.

Everyone talks of developing a “Performance Culture”. The challenge is developing a mind-set where everyone understands and accepts that they are individually accountable for delivering on their targets. Performance should be everyone's business.

Developing a “Performance Culture”

Helped a major telecommunications company to create and implement a “new” organisational culture.

The project took around one and a half years and involved 3,000 employees.
The main objective was to shift the company culture from a culture of “entitlement” to a culture of “Performance and Accountability”.

The process started with creating the company’s Vision, Mission and Values, training everyone to learn and understand them and then enabling everyone to live the Values in their everyday working life through practical implementation. The project resulted in significant operational benefits for the company as well as improvements in organisational culture.
